ARI'S MONTHLY WRAP-UP
The New Romantics is officially one month old! I admit when Britt and I decided to co-blog I was a little nervous at first because if things didn't end up working out I didn't want it to come between our friendship, but luckily the new blog has been a success and I'm loving the co-blogging life. With this new blog being dedicated to reviewing and discussing books from the romance genre, I've become inspired to write a number of posts. I just need to actually sit down and write them first. *Continues to procrastinate said posts*

 July itself was a blur to me because I spent most of my time working, studying, blogging or reading. I've been taking online classes and I'm so close to completing my course, I just need to pass one final exam. I'll probably spend most of August studying which means I won't get any reading done. *CRIES*

HOLY CRAP I READ 20 BOOKS! I wasn't even keeping track of my reading this month so I'm kind of surprised by the number, haha. Six of these books are novellas so that definitely helped to boost my reading count. My favorite read for this month definitely goes to Atheists Who Kneel and Pray by Tarryn Fisher. It's the first book that's made me cry in months and everyone needs to go read it! I've also been on a K. Webster binge. She's my new favorite author for dark erotica and I swear her books are like crack because I just can't get enough.

I decided to call quits on the Fallen Crest High series because I think it's just not for me. The writing hasn't gotten any better and the drama is just a little too over the top for my taste. I also DNF-ed A. Meredith Walters new release because it was such a bore and the book was literally putting me to sleep.

So many anticipated releases by some of my favorite authors and I can't wait to get my hands on them! I'm probably most excited about Twisted Twosome because RACER! I also can't wait to see what Mia Asher's new book is going to about because I know she loves writing stories that make me throw my eReader.

BRITT'S MONTHLY WRAP-UP
Hello blogging world!! I feel like I've been MIA forever at this point instead of just a few weeks but I promise I have good reasons!! I'm currently in the middle of finishing up 100 hours of clinicals for my class and at I am almost completely finished (thank the lord!!). All of my free time has been spent at the hospital in the lab, and trying to catch some sleep whenever I can before doing it all over again the next day. For anyone that's curious my class is for phlebotomy, and I love it, but I also can't wait to be finished this week so I can hop back into reading and blogging before taking my certification test!!

As Ari said The New Romantics is one month old now and I honestly cannot believe it!! Making this blog was literally thought of and made last minute but it felt so right for us to do and I'm so happy with how successful it is. Every time we get on here and see the comments and views we get so happy in knowing that people are loving this as much as we are!! Blogging with Ari has been a blast and she's the absolute best, and she has been so patient with me as I go through class and have to be MIA at some points. I can't wait to see what the next month has in store because we have some exciting things cooking!!

WHAT I READ
 

As I said all of my free time has been spent doing clinicals so my reading time has been so limited, but the books I was able to get to were HUGE hits!! Christina C. Jones has become one of my all time favorite authors and I can't wait to read more of her books!!

I'm so out of the loop right now when it comes to keeping up with new and upcoming releases so I honestly can't think of anything, but if anyone has any they're excited for then drop them in a comment so I can check them out!!
